New Members Wanted Whether you're an keen amateur, an aspiring professional or completely new to the world of Opera, Bristol Opera would love to hear from you.  We are always looking for new members both for singing and in a behind the scenes capacity. Within the company a range of abilities is represented: from singing teachers to keen first-timers.  Whilst the ability to sight-read is helpful, it is not essential.  We aim to produce good music and, most importantly, have fun doing it!	Staging an opera involves a lot more than learning music.  For each production there is a musical director and producer.  They work together with the production team consisting of: publicity manager, costume designer, set designer, stage manager, props coordinator and set contruction manager.   Each of these in turn organises their own team of helpers.
